This two-part mini-series of Democracy that Delivers celebrates the winners of CIPE Africa's Women Economic Empowerment Contest. Our host Ken Jaques and Africa Program Associate Laura Maclay hand the second episode over to the Gambia Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GWCC) CEO Beatrice Mboge to present the key hurdles met by women in business in the Gambia and the wide array of partnerships with nonprofit, private, and public sector organizations mobilized by CWCC to provide critical services and relief, especially as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
